Client Service Engineer at Doble

Julian Franklin, P.E. began their work experience in 2016 as an Engineering Intern III at LCRA, where they designed and published plant health dashboards and provided operational support during critical weather events. Julian continued their internship in 2017 as an Engineering Intern IV, where they reviewed warehouse inventory, worked on improving completion metrics for predictive maintenance, and served on a project management team for a multi-million dollar DCS upgrade. In 2018, Julian joined LCRA as a Generation - Engineering Associate I, E.I.T., troubleshooted plant issues, provided engineering support during non-staffed hours, and conducted feasibility studies on projects. Julian then transitioned to become a Transmission Reliability - Engineering Associate II, E.I.T., serving as an Isolation Equipment SME responsible for reliable transmission equipment and actively participating in industry knowledge transfer. Most recently, Julian joined Doble Engineering Company in 2023 as a Client Service Engineer.

Julian Franklin, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in the period from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Cypress Creek High School from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Julian obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in July 2022.
