Sergey Kalachin

Sergey Kalachin has extensive work experience in various industries. Sergey started their career as a sales representative at ILM, a Compaq distributor, where they achieved the "Best Sales Person of the Year 2007" award. Sergey then moved on to Compaq as the Head of Sales Department, where they were responsible for supervising the sales team, maintaining key accounts, and participating in tenders. During their time at Compaq, they contributed to significant business growth.

After Compaq, Sergey joined Philip Morris International as a Sales Executive for the Central Asia Region. In this role, they managed sales activities and coordinated business activities in Central Asian countries.

Sergey then joined 3M, where they held various roles, including Business Development Supervisor for the Telecommunication and Electrical markets in Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe Region Business Development Manager for Electronics&Energy, and Regional Business Director in the EBBG Business Group. In these roles, Sergey was responsible for business development, sales penetration, and profit generation in multiple industries.

Sergey also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Sedesla Inc., where they had overall business management responsibilities, including global P&L, marketing, sales, and research and development.

Currently, Sergey is a Board of Directors Member (non-executive) at Streamer Electric AG, where they have business responsibility over the transformer business.

Sergey'smost recent position is the Regional Business Development Manager EMEA, Phenix Business Unit at Doble Engineering Company. In this role, they are responsible for sales activities, market plans, and strategies in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the Phenix Business Unit. Sergey also ensures the development of training and educational programs for channel partners and clients.

Sergey Kalachin has a diverse educational background. Sergey obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering & IT from Karaganda State Technical University, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. Before that, Sergey attended Secondary School # 59 in Karaganda from 1984 to 1994.

In terms of professional development, Sergey completed an EMBA KLDP (Key Account Leadership Development) program at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2010. Additionally, they attended a program on Managing Distribution Channels Profitably at Management Centre Europe in 2003.

Sergey has also acquired several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2004, they received the 6 Sigma Green Belt Training from 3M Europe. In 2001, Sergey completed a program on Project Management & TQM (Total Quality Management) offered by PMI. Furthermore, in 1995, they completed an Intensive English Acquisition Course through the North American Teachers Association.
