David Kincannon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David started their career as a Purchasing Agent at Trimco Finish from December 1993 to November 1996, where they designed and produced manufacturing drawings for residential wood windows. David then worked at Phoenix Door Manufacturing as a Purchasing Agent from September 1997 to January 2000, where they installed and maintained computer networks and phone systems.

In 2000, David joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as a Sr. Systems Aid, responsible for managing and installing computer systems. David stayed there until May 2002.

From August 2002 to August 2013, David worked as a Senior Desktop Support Technician at Pinnacle Business Solutions, Inc. David maintained and repaired desktop hardware and software, assisted in file recovery, and provided recommendations for desktop-based LAN systems software operations.

Following that, David joined Clearpoint Technology Group from August 2013 to July 2014 as a Desktop Support Analyst II, providing technical support services. David then moved to LINN Energy, LLC in July 2014 as a Desktop Support Analyst II, handling computer deployments, repairs, and service call management until October 2016.

In November and December 2016, David worked as a Contractor for Gulfport Energy Corporation.

Currently, David is employed at Dobson Fiber since January 2017. Initially, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst, troubleshooting problems and evaluating network outages. Later, in November 2020, they transitioned into a Network Operations Center Technician role.

David Kincannon has a diverse education history. From 1997 to 2000, they attended DeVry University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication. In 2000, they pursued Microsoft Training at QuickStart Intelligence in Aliso Viejo, CA. During the same period, they also received education in Unix at HP Education Services in Anaheim, CA. Additionally, in 2000, David studied Oracle at Oracle Education in Irvine, CA, and VisiFlow at Exigen Education Services in El Segundo, CA. In 2002, they focused on DiskXtener2000 at OTG Software in El Segundo, CA. Prior to their college education, David attended Macarthur High School from 1982 to 1984. David also pursued Design Drafting at Cameron University from 1984 to 1986.

In terms of certifications, David obtained several notable certifications. In 2017, they became a Barracuda Backup Certified Engineer through Barracuda. In 2018, they received CompTIA certifications including CompTIA A+ and CompTIA A+ ce Certification. Most recently, in December 2020, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification. David also participated in the NCL 2018 Fall Regular Season by Cyber Skyline, although specific details about this certification are not provided.
