Jon Deaver

Jon Deaver has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Jon currently holds the position of Director of Voice Engineering at Dobson Fiber, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, Jon held the role of Manager of Voice Services at Pinnacle Telecom LLC for over two decades, until the company was acquired by Dobson Fiber. In this role, they were responsible for managing the delivery, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SIP services for customer deployments and carrier-to-carrier connections. Before Pinnacle Telecom, Jon worked at Newroads Telecom as a Telephony Science Manager for 16 years. Jon also served as a Metaswitch User Group Board Member at Metaswitch Networks from 2005 to 2011 and as an AT&T User Group Board Member from 1999 to 2000. Jon's earlier experiences include working as a Telecommunications Specialist at Beverly Enterprises and as a Telephony Manager / IT Support Systems Manager at USA Truck, Inc. In these roles, they managed telecommunication services, desktop support, network services, web development, and word processing for various companies. Jon's expertise includes project management and telecommunications buildouts.

Jon Deaver completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Administrative Management from the University of Arkansas, where they attended from 1988 to 1992.
