Taz Aldawoud

Founder & CEO at Doc Abode

Taz Aldawoud has a long and varied work experience in the healthcare industry. Taz began their career in 2004 as a Doctor - GP at NHS. In 2008, they became a General Practitioner at Highfield Health Centre. In 2011, they took on the roles of Director of Clinical Innovation, Senior Clinician, and Clinical Lead for Service Innovation at Local Care Direct. In 2013, they joined STARLIMS Europe -an Abbott Company as a Clinical Advisory Board Member. In 2014, they took on the roles of Clinical Board Member & CCIO at NHS Bradford Districts Clinical Commissioning Group and Clinical Lead for IT and Innovation at Bradford and Airedale Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's). In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Doc Abode, an award-winning workforce management software. Taz also became a Digital Clinical Champion at NHS England.

Taz Aldawoud received their Batchelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Leeds between 1998 and 2004. Taz also obtained a Batchelor of Science (BSc, Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Leeds between 2002 and 2003. In 2007 and 2008, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (PG Cert Bus Admin) from The Open University. Taz then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Open University between 2008 and 2011. Lastly, Taz Aldawoud is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) from the Royal College of General Practitioners since 2009.
