Isao Hojyo Uehara MD, MHA has held a variety of roles in the medical field since 2008. Isao began their career as a MIP at the Hospital General Dr. Dario Fernandez in 2008. In 2010, they were a MPSS at the Secretaria de Salud de Quintana Roo, Clinica Zazil Ha. From 2009-2012, they were the Director Medico at Samoa Spa & Health Center. During this same time period, they were also the Director de Proyectos Gubernamentales at Tecnologias en Conectividad from 2011-2012 and the Responsable Sanitario at Bionime Corporation Mexico from 2012-2015. In 2015, they joined Colegio Medico Lasallista A.C. as the Tesorero y Miembro del Comite de Planificacion, where they collaborated on the planning of projects, plans, and programs related to the vision, mission, and values of the Colegio Medico Lasallista. Additionally, they were the Founder of DOC.com in 2012.

Isao Hojyo Uehara MD, MHA completed a Medico Cirujano degree from Universidad La Salle, A.C. between 2003 and 2008. Isao then pursued a Especialidad en Dirección de Servicios de Salud from the same institution between 2011 and 2013. In 2011, they also began a Maestría en Administración de Organizaciones de Salud from Universidad La Salle, A.C. which they completed in 2014. In 2017, they obtained a Startup School certification from Y Combinator. Isao also completed a Entrepreneurship Business Diploma from Universidad Anáhuac in 2018 and a Gestión Hospitalaria y Nuevas Tendencias Tecnológicas from Tecnológico de Monterrey in the same year. Additionally, they completed a Technology-enabled Blitzcaling, CS183C course from Stanford University in 2015 and a Making Distance Teams Work course from the same institution in 2017. Isao also completed a Sistema De Indicadores Para Hospitales Y Unidades De La Salud from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2019.
