Brian Cardarella

Brian Cardarella is the CEO and founder of DockYard, a digital product agency specializing in strategy, design, and software development. Brian has over 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked as a software developer for companies like the Democratic National Committee, Zendesk, and Rakuten.

Brian got their start in the industry as a Jr Software Developer at Rakuten, where they helped build out the OneCause platform. Brian then moved on to Zendesk, where they were with the company during their time in Boston. After that, they joined the Democratic National Committee as a Ruby on Rails Developer. During their time there, they brought Test Driven methodology to the DNC and built out the call tool and Raise Your Vote.

In 2012, Brian founded DockYard with the goal of providing clients with high quality digital products that are both well-designed and well-built. Since then, the company has grown to over 50 employees and has worked with clients like Google, Apple, Harvard University, and MIT.

Brian Cardarella's educational career began at Xaverian Brothers High School. Brian then attended Bridgton Academy before transferring to Providence College, where they studied computer science.
