Steve Truitt has had a long and distinguished career in training and development. Steve began hi career in 1993 as a reporter for KNBC, and then moved to Clear Channel Broadcasting in 2000 as VP Affiliate Relations/Head of Talent for Metro TV Division. In 2005, he became an Executive Producer and Host for Discovery Channel. From 2011 to 2013, Truitt worked as a DISC Trainer, Facilitator and Team Building Expert for Team Builders Plus. Steve then joined Verengo Solar in 2013 as Head of Training, where he was one of the principal architects of the training curriculum and implementation. In 2015, Truitt became Director of Training and Development for OneRoof Energy, Inc., tasked with reinvigorating company culture, and in 2017 he was recruited by Tesla as Training & Development Initiatives and Internal Communications executive for Tesla Academy. In 2018, he became Director of Training and Development for The Meruelo Group, and in 2020 he was again recruited by DocMagic as Sr. Manager, Training and Development to develop a customer-facing training program from the ground up. Throughout his career, Truitt has been responsible for reducing training budgets, creating streamlined training, building relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, and developing and managing teams of highly motivated professionals.

Steve Truitt obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Maryland between in 1989. Prior to that, he attended Bradford College from 1984 to 1986, where he earned his associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. In addition, Truitt has obtained several certifications, including Certified DISC Trainer from Take Flight Learning in October 2016, Certified DISC Assessment Trainer and Coach from DISCcert in February 2016, and Certified Practitioner of NLP, Timeline Therapy and Hypnotherapy from American Pacific University & Advanced NeuroDynamics in June 2003.
