Katarina Wangler Björk

Chief Climate Policy Officer/ Advisor at Doconomy

Katarina Wangler Björk has a wide range of work experience, beginning with EY in 2012, where they held the roles of Head of Innovation & Design Advisory Nordics, Sustainable Business Lead Advisory, Senior Manager of Customer Management & Strategic Direction, and Acting Head of Customer Management & Strategic Direction. In 2018, they became the Lead Nordic Expansion for EY Seren. In 2017, they were an Advisor for Deedster. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Advisor and Strategic Designer for Fantastic Studios, Senior Advisor on the Advisory Board for FoodFighters, and an Advisor, Facilitator and Speaker for Corporates, Public Sector, Start-ups, Think Tanks and more. In 2020, they were the Director of Sustainable Business, Strategy, Innovation and Design for 2050, and a Mentor for Bloomer Accelerator. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors for Hyper Island. Currently, they are the Applied Impact Partnership Manager for Doconomy.

Katarina Wangler Björk has a diverse educational background. Katarina attended Södra Latins Gymnasium from 1988 to 1991 and Kulturama from 1993 to 1995 for Photography. From 1995 to 1996, they studied at the University of Gothenburg for Fine Arts in Photography. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Stockholm University for Katarina'story of Ideas and Science, Economics, and Law. In 2004, they attended Berghs School of Communication for Branding and Business Strategy. From 1997 to 2000, they attended KAOSPILOT for a Bachelor in Entrepreneurship, Management, Leadership, Marketing, Innovation, and Process Management. From 2008 to 2010, they attended TRIUM Global Executive MBA for an Executive MBA. During this same time period, they also attended HEC Paris for an MBA in Strategy Implementation and Control, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for an MBA in Business in the Global Political Economy, and NYU Stern School of Business for an MBA in Global Strategies and Finance. From 2017 to 2018, they attended Stockholm University for Sustainability Studies at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. In 2019 to 2020, they attended Novare Leadership Academy for the Cheetah Disruptive Innovation Program for senior executives. In 2021, they are currently attending Stockholm University for Sustainability & Resilience Science at the Stockholm Resilience Centre. Additionally, Katarina Wangler Björk is certified as a Certified Business Architect from Dataföreningen i Sverige and a Certified Prosci Change Management Instructor from Prosci.
