Ricardo de Oliveira Schmidt

Ricardo de Oliveira Schmidt is a Chief Product Officer, Co-Founder, and VP of Engineering at DocQ since 2020. Prior to this, they were Chief Product Officer, Co-Founder, and VP of Engineering at NDM Global from 2019-2020. Ricardo was also an Advisor at ORION Drones in 2019. In 2017, they were a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Assistant Professor at Universidade de Passo Fundo, a Senior Full Stack Developer at Navomi, and a Research Engineer at SIDN. From 2010-2015, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher, PhD candidate, Collaborating Researcher (0-hour), and Visiting Researcher at the University of Twente. Ricardo was also a Visiting Scholar at Universit\u00e9 catholique de Louvain in 2015, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Networking and Telecommunications Research Group at Federal University of Pernambuco from 2008-2010.

Ricardo de Oliveira Schmidt obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Passo Fundo between 2002 and 2007. Ricardo then obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco between 2008 and 2010. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from University of Twente between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, Ricardo has obtained certifications in ISO 27001 Foundation - Information Security Certification from EXIN in December 2020, JItterbit Core from Jitterbit in January 2020, and JItterbit Foundations from Jitterbit in December 2019.
