Samuel Ethiopia has over 20 years of professional experience. In 2000, they began as a Senior Research Engineer/ Project Lead at Dow Chemical Company. In 2005, they transitioned to Eli Lilly as a Global Brand Associate. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Manager - Management Consultant with Strategy&, part of the PwC network. During this time, they consulted with Fortune 500 companies and Private Equity with their operation strategy and product development. In 2010, they joined Yahoo as Head of Business Ops and Customer Experience Strategy, where they led and architected the building of new customer experience business model and strategic planning. Samuel also held the roles of Director, Global Data and Product Strategy & Monetization and Lead, Global Strategy and Business Transformation. In 2014, Samuel Ethiopia became an Advisor/ Investor at Sift (Formerly ShopInbox) and Co-Founder / Chief Operating Officer at DocSpera. In 2020, they Co-Founded The Par Fund and in 2021, they became the CEO / Board Member of DocSpera. In 2022, they joined the Forbes Technology Council as a Member.
Samuel Ethiopia obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in March 2021. Samuel also holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a Masters in Engineering Management from Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
