Adam Maxwell

Adam Maxwell has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Information Security & Privacy at Doctor Care Anywhere since August 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Aikos Technologies Ltd starting from June 2021. Adam also worked as the Head of Cyber Security at Chip from November 2021 until July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director: Data & Engineering at the Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative from January 2021 to June 2022. Adam also worked as a Cyber Security Researcher at Banco Santander from February 2018 to October 2021. Adam has experience in volunteer work as an OSINT Analyst at The National Child Protection Task Force from October 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, Adam served as an NCA Special - JSTAC at the National Crime Agency from January 2015 to December 2020. Adam has a significant history at BGL Group where they held multiple roles including Senior Manager - Cyber Security, Cyber Security Manager, Senior Technical Lead, Technical Lead, and Wintel Team Leader from 2007 to 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Infrastructure Manager at Elliott Group and as a Field Service Engineer at ITC Computer Maintenance.

Adam Maxwell attended Edinburgh Napier University from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Science with Distinction (MS) degree in Advanced Security & Digital Forensics (D/L). In addition to their academic achievements, Adam has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Adam became a CipherTrace Certified Examiner through CipherTrace in June 2021 and a Digital Evidence Investigator (DEI) through ADF Solutions, Inc. in the same month and year. Before pursuing their master's degree, Adam obtained various certifications, including Certified Geopolitical Analyst and Certified Analyst from Recorded Future in November 2019 and December 2018 respectively. Adam also earned the qualifications of Qualified Human Trafficking Investigator (Q|HTI) and Certified Cyber Intelligence Investigator (CCII) from the McAfee Institute in September 2018 and February 2016 respectively. Prior to that, they completed several courses on investigations in the deep web, social media investigation methodologies, and Twitter investigation methodologies through the McAfee Institute in 2015. Adam's journey in cybersecurity began with their completion of the Malicious Software and its Underground Economy: Two Sides to Every Story course through Coursera Verified Certificates in July 2013. Adam further gained expertise in offensive security by obtaining the OSWP (Offensive Security Wireless Professional) certification from Offensive Security in April 2013 and the OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) certification in November 2012.
