Ian Franklin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In their most recent position at Doctor Care Anywhere, they served as the Head of IT Services and previously held the role of IT Services Manager. Prior to that, Ian was the Director and Founding Director of Reactive IT Limited, where they specialized in providing interim IT Service Management resources. Ian also worked at RS Components as a Major Incident and Problem Manager and at DWP Digital as an IT Incident Manager. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2002, they received the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL v2) from ISEB. In the same year, they also obtained the IT Problem Management Practitioner (ITIL v2) certification from EXIN. In 2005, they obtained the IT Service Management Practitioner in Service Desk & Incident Management (ITIL v2) certification from ISEB. Moving forward, in 2011, they received the Prince 2 Foundation certification from APMG International. In 2014, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL v3) and the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Service Operation (ITIL v3) from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Lastly, in 2015, they received the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Service Transition (ITIL v3) from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
