Vikas Kapoor has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Vikas started at HMP Woodhill as a Medical Officer in 2004 and worked there until 2005. Vikas then joined Kingswood Surgery as a GP Partner in 2006, where they provided primary care services and had special interests in occupational medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, and COPD. Vikas worked at Kingswood Surgery for a decade until 2016. In 2016, they started working as a Sessional GP at NHS until 2021. During this time, they also joined Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust as an Occupational Health Physician from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Vikas Kapoor is working at DOCTORnow, where they were previously a General Practitioner and is currently serving as an Associate Director.
Vikas Kapoor earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from the University of Birmingham between 1993 and 1998. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Queen Mary University of London to pursue a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in COPD management from The Open University. Earlier, from 2007 to 2009, they studied at the Faculty of Occupational Medicine and acquired a Diploma in Occupational Medicine. Finally, between 2003 and 2005, they obtained the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners from the Royal College of General Practitioners.
