Regional Medical Director at Doctors Care of SC

Roxanne Latimer, MD, has extensive work experience in the medical field. Roxanne began their career in 2004 as a Physician at UMass Memorial Medical Group. In 2012, they joined AFC Urgent Care and served as the Medical Director, where they successfully opened and directed two Urgent Care Centers in Massachusetts. Roxanne also functioned as the New England Region Medical Director. In 2018, Dr. Latimer became the Medical Director at Circle Health, where they oversaw four Urgent Care Centers and played a key role in opening a new building. Roxanne brought Occupational Health and Travel Medicine services to the centers. In 2019, they joined Tidelands Health as a Physician, and in 2021, they took on the role of Regional Medical Director at Doctors Care of SC. In this position, they are responsible for managing 11 Urgent Care Centers and overseeing utilization review and quality.

Dr. Roxanne Latimer completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Economics and Business Administration respectively at Pepperdine University from 1989 to 1993. Roxanne then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Boston University School of Medicine, graduating in 2001. Following that, they undertook the Family Medicine Residency Program at UMass Chan Medical School from 2001 to 2004.
