David Nathan

Founder & Past President at Doctors for Drug Policy Reform (D4DPR)

David Nathan has a diverse work experience in the medical field. David is the Founder and Past President of Doctors for Drug Policy Reform, a national physicians' organization focused on drug policy reform. Additionally, they have worked as a Consultant for Princeton Psychiatry & Consulting, advising on medical and regulatory affairs, as well as assisting cannabis companies with state license applications. David has also served as the Director of Continuing Medical Education at Penn Medicine Princeton Health and as the Director of Professional Education at Penn Medicine Princeton House Behavioral Health. David Nathan has also been a Chief Medical Advisor for 4Front and has worked as a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist at Princeton Healthcare System. Throughout their career, they have been involved in public health, marketing strategies, and graphic design.

David Nathan received a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University in 1990. David then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following that, they completed a Residency in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School from 1994 to 1998.
