Rosaelena Valencia Villa

Rosaelena Valencia Villa, MSHL, BHSA, currently serves as a Surveyor at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) since July 2022. In addition, Rosaelena has held the position of Sr. Director Quality and Stars at Doctors HealthCare Plans, Inc. since March 2020, overseeing the STARS Program, HEDIS, CAHPS, MTM, and Credentialing, with administrative responsibilities for SNP and HOS. Previous roles include Director of Quality Improvement at SOLIS Health Plans and Stars Network Performance-Director at United Healthcare of South Florida, as well as Project Manager for Special Needs Plans at CarePlus Health Plan. Rosaelena holds a Master of Science in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration from Florida International University, along with ongoing studies for a master's degree in Public Health at Nova Southeastern University.
