Mohammed Abo Khamis has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Mohammed started their career in 2013 as a Medical Consultant at various healthcare organizations, including Summa Health, Cleveland Clinic Akron General, and the Family Practice residency program. In 2015, they worked as an Intensivist at Summa Health System Barberton Hospital until 2019. During this time, they also served as a Medical Consultant at Summit Pulmonary and Internal Medicine, Inc. and Tenet Healthcare. In 2017, they became the Medical Director at Select Specialty Hospital, a position they held until 2019. Since then, they have been working as an MD at Pulmonary & Critical Care Associates of Modesto Inc and as the Medical Director at Doctors Hospital of Manteca starting in 2022.
Mohammed Abo Khamis began their education in 1999 at Damascus University, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on Medicine. Mohammed completed this program in 2006. In 2007, Mohammed enrolled in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Mohammed completed this program in 2010 and obtained their MD degree. During their time at the university, Mohammed also completed the Pulmonary Disease Residency Program from 2010 to 2013 and the Critical Care Medicine Residency Program from 2010 to 2013.
In terms of certifications, Mohammed obtained their license as a Physician Surgeon M.D. (Physician/Surgeon And All Others) from the Medical Board of California in December 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in October 2014, in Internal Medicine in October 2010, and in Pulmonary Disease in October 2012. Mohammed also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree granted by the State Medical Board of Ohio in July 2012.
