Hamid Shirzad is a seasoned professional in project management and quality improvement within the health sector, currently serving as Senior Project Coordinator for Quality Improvement at Doctors of BC since August 2021. Prior experience includes leading a COVID-19 project for BRAC, managing various initiatives at Global Innovation Consulting Services (GLICS), and overseeing polio eradication research funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Hamid's background features significant accomplishments in training and empowering women in health leadership roles and engagement in research to advance Universal Health Coverage in Afghanistan. A Medical Doctor and holder of an MBA in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Management, Hamid is currently pursuing a Master of Health Administration at UBC School of Population and Public Health.
