Rachel Nolte-Laird, PhD, serves as the Director of Indigenous Specific Anti-Racism and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Doctors of BC, where responsibilities include designing and implementing strategies for Indigenous anti-racism and cultural safety. Rachel has held various management roles within Doctors of BC, focusing on strategic initiatives, measurement systems, and stakeholder engagement in healthcare. Previously, Rachel contributed to child and youth mental health initiatives across British Columbia, developing community action groups and policies. An academic background includes a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Otago and a Master's in Human Security & Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University.
