MSF is an international, independent,  medical humanitarian organisation created by a group of doctors and journalists in 1971. We help people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care. 

MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.Our principles of independence, neutrality and impartiality are at the core of everything we do.

Our network of medical, logistical professionals and administrative staff work in more than 60 countries. 

Our medical teams carry out more than nine million patient consultations a year. Our activities run from vaccination campaigns to complex surgery in conflict zones.

The Development and Partnerships Team at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Canada is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations to secure funding and resources. This team strategizes and implements fundraising initiatives, plans and coordinates donor engagement activities, and manages major gifts and planned giving programs. By building and nurturing these vital partnerships, they ensure the organization has the financial support needed to carry out its medical humanitarian missions worldwide.
