MSF is an international, independent,  medical humanitarian organisation created by a group of doctors and journalists in 1971. We help people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care. 

MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.Our principles of independence, neutrality and impartiality are at the core of everything we do.

Our network of medical, logistical professionals and administrative staff work in more than 60 countries. 

Our medical teams carry out more than nine million patient consultations a year. Our activities run from vaccination campaigns to complex surgery in conflict zones.

The Operations and Strategy Team at MSF Canada focuses on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's humanitarian efforts. This team develops strategic initiatives, improves business processes, and leverages data analysis and information technology to support MSF's mission of providing medical aid in emergencies.
