John Fernandes, M.P.A., serves as the IT Services Manager and Systems Analyst for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières - USA, overseeing software rollout and daily operations of the Systems Team's Zendesk instance. Additionally, John holds the position of Development Operations & Stewardship Coordinator at Heterodox Academy, where responsibilities include maintaining donor databases and managing donor recognition programs. Previously, John contributed to Family Equality as Family Engagement Manager and HR/Operations Manager, focusing on program development and human resource initiatives. A board member of The Skylar Storage Project, John advocates for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. John earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in English and Political Science from Seton Hall University.
