Dorna Moini has a diverse and impressive work experience. Dorna is currently the CEO and Founder of Gavel (formerly Documate), a no-code platform for building online legal products. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP where they gained experience as a trial lawyer, specializing in class actions, trade secret cases, and whistleblower cases. Dorna successfully second-chaired multiple jury trials, administrative hearings, and arbitrations. Dorna also worked as an Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Additionally, Dorna Moini worked as a Summer Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, a Student Clinical Supervisor at the USC Post-Conviction Justice Project, and as a Field Consultant to SOS Esclaves at the Open Society Institute.

Dorna Moini completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at New York University from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued their Juris Doctor degree at USC Gould School of Law from 2009 to 2012. In 2007 and 2008, they also attended Sciences Po, where they studied both Economics and French Literature.
