Paul Skokan has worked in the software engineering industry for over 20 years. Paul began their career in 1996 as the CEO of PSST. In 2005, they joined MX Logic as a Threat Technician where they wrote regular expressions in Perl designed to filter spam and viruses. In 2006, they became an Integration Engineer at IBM, where they designed and developed tools for automating tasks, cross platform tools to maintain operation, and extra departmental tasks. In 2007, they joined Zed as a Developer II, where they helped gather requirements and implement mobile web applications for a variety of carriers. In 2010, they joined Envysion as a Software Engineer, where they created a variety of internal tools for data transfer/manipulation. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Charter Communications, where they led teams of developers in designing and maintaining a variety of applications and systems. In 2015, they became the CEO of Wet Paint Limited, where they wrote frontend and backend services for a variety of platforms. In 2019, they joined Documoto, Inc. as an Engineering Manager / Software Architect, where they worked with customers and developers to provide intuitive interfaces, high performance backend systems, and scalable architecture for parts catalogs and instruction manuals.
Paul Skokan began their education in 2001 at Red Rocks Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science. Paul then transferred to Fort Lewis College in 2003, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. Finally, they continued their studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science.
