Chris Mccracken

Chris began his career in the financial industry prior to joining Dodson Companies in March of 2012. Throughout his tenure at Dodson, Chris has served in various roles within the organization to help assist in the growth of the company. Chris has worked in both Single Family and Multifamily management before starting the Portfolio Management division in 2018. Chris and his team specialize in the management of small to medium sized multifamily, commercial and mixed use assets also known as “Tweener” properties.

Through hard work, innovation, and customer service, Chris has helped lead the Portfolio Management division to become a local industry leader in this niche market. Chris and his team don’t simply place you in a box, they cater to every client's specific needs to create a successful and customized management plan. Currently, the Portfolio Management division oversees the management of over 1,200 units in Central Virginia and represents a wide range of clients including developers, investors, and portfolio owners.

Chris is a graduate of Emory and Henry College located in his native Southwest Virginia. He currently holds designations through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Chris is the past President of the Richmond NARPM chapter and currently serves on the Virginia Board of Directors.
