Donal Butler

Donal Butler is an experienced professional in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving as Business Development Manager for Renewables at DOF since September 2022. Prior to this role, Donal held the position of Associate Project Manager at Seaway 7 from April to September 2022 and accumulated extensive experience at Subsea 7 from May 2013 to July 2022, where roles included Lead Engineer and Senior Project Engineer. Donal's career also includes site management positions at Dandara Ltd and Wills Bros Ltd, and engineering roles at Les Taylor Civil Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Subsea Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Technological University of the Shannon.
