Kim Canton

Kim Canton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they contributed to the production of books and authored several papers and publications. Following this, they worked as a SSHRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at York University, conducting research, presenting papers, and organizing seminars on their research project. They also served as a Sessional Course Instructor at York University. Currently, Kim Canton is working at Dog and Pony Studios, where they have held roles such as Brand Strategist, Director of Content & Brand Strategy, Managing Director, and Creative Director.

Kim Canton completed a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Alberta from 2002 to 2004. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Toronto between 2004 and 2008.
