Itamar Bitan is a skilled professional with a diverse background in operations and team leadership. Currently serving as Co-Founder at Dognosis since May 2023 and a Grantee at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University from August 2023, Itamar previously held the position of Head of Operations at Dog-Prognose from November 2021 to April 2023. Itamar's earlier experience includes working as a Production Team Member at BlueBird Aero Systems Ltd. from September 2020 to May 2021 and serving as a Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces from November 2016 to September 2020, where responsibilities included combat operations and commanding within a special ops K9 unit. Itamar completed education at HackerU from October 2021 to April 2023.

Dognosis
Dognosis is a deep-tech startup in Bangalore decoding canine cognition to reveal the hidden world of scent. We do this by building technology and doing science that increases the bandwidth of human-canine communication and collaboration. Our first goal is to solve for early cancer detection by pioneering a multi-cancer breath-based test - BreathEasy - that will be ultra-affordable, highly accurate, and super accessible.
