Alastair Salmon

Alastair Salmon is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in information security and technology management. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security and Technical Services at Dogs Trust since July 2021, Alastair previously held positions such as Information Security Manager at NCS - National Citizen Service Trust and Moorfields Eye Hospital, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure for multiple entities. Alastair's expertise is further underscored by roles as Head of ICT at SOAS, and leadership positions at VSO, contributing to global IT operations and project management. Alastair began career pathways at Christian Aid and Government Office for the South East, gradually developing a strong foundation in IT support and management. Alastair holds a degree in Sociology from Swansea University.
