Berk Özcan

Berk Özcan's work experience begins in 2015 as a Merchandise Planner at Koton Mağazacılık, where they analyzed data for sales and inventory, estimated future product quantities, determined product prices, and prepared budgets. In 2017, they moved to Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık A.Ş. as a Merchandise Planner, performing similar duties. Later that year, they joined LC Waikiki as a Business Analytics Specialist, developing algorithmic backend code for decision support systems, preparing documents for in-house applications, and conducting ad-hoc data analysis and reporting. Berk'smost recent position is Senior Data Analyst at Doğuş Teknoloji, where they interpret and analyzes data, creates reports, and turns data into actionable insights using big data analytic frameworks.

Berk Özcan completed their Master of Science - MS in Big Data Analytics from MEF University between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Istanbul University, graduating in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Berk acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in June 2022. Berk also holds a SQL (Intermediate) Certificate from HackerRank obtained in December 2021, an Applied Machine Learning in Python certificate from the University of Michigan obtained in November 2020, a Supervised learning with scikit-learn certificate from DataCamp obtained in October 2020, and an AI, Advanced Analytics & RPA certificate from IDC obtained in November 2019.
