Orcun Yalcin

Orcun Yalcin has extensive work experience as a Data Scientist. Orcun started their career at Frontiers in 2018, where they worked as a Data Scientist until 2019. Orcun then joined Santander UK as a Data Scientist from October 2019 to June 2020. Following this, Orcun worked at Vestel as a Data Scientist from September 2020 to April 2021. Orcun also gained experience as a Research Assistant at Swansea University from November 2020 to April 2021. Orcun then moved on to work as a Data Science Researcher at Universiteit Maastricht from July 2021 to June 2022. Currently, they are working at Doğuş Technology as a Data Scientist, where they have implemented recommendation engines and worked on demand forecasting and dynamic pricing for clients such as DOD, PuhuTv, and Porsche.

Orcun Yalcin pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, which they completed from 2012 to 2018. Following this, they furthered their academic journey and obtained an MSc in Data Science from Swansea University from 2019 to 2020. In addition to their formal degrees, Orcun Yalcin also obtained a certification in Ielts from the British Council in November 2018.
