Job description

Dogwood seeks a motivated and results-driven Full Commission Business Development Representative to join our growing team. As a representative of Dogwood, you will identify and close new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and promote Dogwood’s media and marketing services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business leads across various industries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Dogwood’s services and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Present and demonstrate services to potential clients, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure a smooth transition to the operations team for service delivery.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline progress, and client feedback to inform strategies.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and community activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in marketing, advertising, media solutions, or related fields.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a commission-driven environment.
  • Ability to understand and present complex services clearly and compellingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and basic sales reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing network of business contacts or experience in B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, website development, and creative services.
  • Knowledge of the local market (Pike Road, Montgomery, and surrounding areas).

About Us:

Dogwood Media Solutions, LLC is privately owned and operated. Currently, there are 13 people on staff to assist clients.

We provide a stocked kitchen and additional tools if needed. We also promote our team members' professional development if they pursue additional work-related education or learning opportunities.

We offer paid health, dental, and vision for employees (even those on 100% commission). The company also pays for a Safe Harbor match on 401k and a $75,000 group life policy. This is not a remote position.
