Mandeep Deu, ACCA, currently serves as Financial Controller at Doherty Associates since October 2014, overseeing the finance function, managing a finance team, and producing monthly management accounts. Key achievements include restructuring the finance function across the UK and Malaysia, leading to significant payroll reductions, and enhancing the business's financial value through effective cost analysis. Prior to this role, Mandeep held positions as Management Accountant and Assistant Accountant, demonstrating expertise in cashflow management, VAT, and financial analysis. Mandeep began a career in finance with an Accounts Assistant role at JSS & Co. Accountants, contributing to bookkeeping and VAT analysis. Educational qualifications include ACCA certification from Kaplan Financial and a degree in Business Economics with Finance from the University of Portsmouth.
