Bente van Riel

Bente van Riel is an experienced IT professional currently serving as IT Team Lead for Engineering & Maintenance at Döhler Group since June 2018, overseeing the consultant team for SAP modules related to engineering and maintenance. Prior roles at Döhler include SAP EAM Consultant and Preventive Maintenance Planner & Key User SAP EAM. Bente's earlier experience includes working as Planning Supervisor and Junior Mechanical Engineer at LyondellBasell, where responsibilities included improving maintenance processes and supporting maintenance engineers. Bente also has hands-on experience as a Timmerman at Koenraads aannemersbedrijf and completed a training internship at LyondellBasell focused on enhancing the availability of packaging lines. Bente holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Industrial Automation from Avans University of Applied Sciences, completed between 2013 and 2018. Additionally, Bente is currently a volunteer Manschap A at Veiligheidsregio Midden- en West-Brabant since October 2022.
