Niels de Heij

Niels de Heij has extensive experience in communication and fundraising within various organizations. Currently serving as Fundraiser for the Private Market and Manager of Communication & Fundraising at Dokters van de Wereld Nederland since May 2017, Niels has previously held roles such as Online Marketing Specialist at Bruizt BV and Manager of Communication at Save the Children Nederland. Niels' background includes significant positions such as Manager of Campaigns at HIER Klimaatbureau, Campaign Leader at Greenpeace Netherlands, and Policy Advisor on European Affairs for the Socialistische Partij. Additionally, Niels has contributed as a Board Member for Wonder and held leadership positions at Los Cachorros. Niels holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Retail Management.
