David Gould

David Gould serves as the Senior Director of Content Creation and Distribution Solutions at Dolby Laboratories since June 2012, where leadership involves the development of tools and workflows for global content in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Previous roles at Dolby include Director of Audio Content Solutions, focused on evolving immersive audio tools for professional content creation, and Senior Product Manager for cinema sound tools. Prior to Dolby, David worked at Avid Technology, leading product management for Pro Tools|HD and serving as a Product Specialist in Northern Europe. David began a career in audio as an Assistant Recording Engineer at EMI Abbey Road Studios, contributing to notable film scores. David holds a degree from the University of Surrey and attended Birkenhead School.
