Szymon Makiela

Szymon Makiela is a Senior DevOps Engineer with QA at Dolby Laboratories since April 2020, where responsibilities include maintaining software development infrastructure for code protection solutions and developing a comprehensive ecosystem for Python packages and Docker images. Prior to this role, Szymon served as a QA Engineer, focusing on implementing a pytest testing framework and enhancing testing workflows with CI/CD processes. Previously, Szymon worked at Nokia Solutions and Networks as an Embedded Systems Integrator from September 2014 to April 2020, contributing to Python library development for Robot Framework and creating a monitoring system for laboratory inventory using Python and Flask. Szymon's early experience includes working as a Technician/Sound Engineer at Akademickie Radio LUZ from June 2011 to June 2019. Szymon holds two degrees in Electronics and Telecommunications from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, completing a master's degree in 2013 and a bachelor's degree in 2012.
