Tim Carroll

Tim Carroll is an experienced professional in sound technology and management with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Sound Technology in the Office of the CTO at Dolby Laboratories since June 2016, Tim previously held the position of CTO at The Telos Alliance from March 2013 to June 2016. As the founder of Linear Acoustic Inc. from 2001 to 2016, Tim has been instrumental in various innovations within the industry. Earlier in Tim's career, Tim worked as a Broadcast Product Manager at Dolby Laboratories from 1995 to 2001 and as a Customer Support Engineer at Private Satellite Network from June 1992 to October 1993. Tim Carroll holds a degree from Rutgers University, where studies were completed from 1987 to 1991, and has also attended Caltech.
