Isabelle Spindler-Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and industries. Isabelle started their career at Nutricia in 1990 as a Marketing Manager and Key Account Manager. Isabelle then moved on to work at Bols as an International Marketing Director from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Heineken Export as a Global Account Manager for Airlines & Travel Retail, and later became the Customer Service Department Manager until 2003. From 2003 to 2009, Isabelle worked at Vrumona, where they held roles as Marketing Director and Director Retail. Isabelle then joined The HEINEKEN Company in 2009 as Director Retail, and subsequently took on the positions of Regional Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe and Director Sales Execution & Capabilities Europe from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, Isabelle served on the Supervisory Board of Stichting DOEN. Isabelle became the CEO of Qurrent, a green energy company, from 2017 to 2018. Most recently, they have been Vice President and Managing Director of Dole Packaged Foods Europe, aiming to transform the company into a health and nutrition-focused organization.
Isabelle Spindler-Jacobs has a Master's Degree in Business and Private Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, which they obtained from 1984 to 2000. Isabelle also completed a post-master program in Education for commissioners and supervisors at the same university in 2018. Isabelle attended several short courses and leadership programs throughout their career, including courses on building and sustaining competitive advantage at Harvard Business School in 2014, senior management leadership at INSEAD in 2011, mobilizing people at IMD in 2009, orchestrating winning performance at IMD in 2005, and supply chain management at Cranfield University in 2002. Additionally, they completed an extra year of study in commercial policy at the Economic Faculty of Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1989 to 1990. Isabelle also participated in a Marketing Week Mini MBA program with Mark Ritson in 2021 to enhance their marketing knowledge. Prior to their higher education, Isabelle attended Emmaus College from 1978 to 1984, Oelbert Gymnasium in 1977, and Dom Helder Camara School from 1972 to 1977.
