Gerhard Fourie

Gerhard (G.R.) Fourie is an experienced professional in supply chain management and logistics, currently serving as Business Manager: Supply Chain at Dole plc since September 2018. Prior to this role, Fourie held the position of General Manager for the International Freight Department at RTT Intelligent Logistics from June 2014 to August 2018 and worked as a Supply Chain Project Manager at The Shoprite Group of Companies from October 2006 to May 2014. Fourie's career began with a Student Learner Programme at Transnet National Ports Authority in 2005. Educational qualifications include an MCom in Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, a BPhil in Maritime Studies from Stellenbosch University, and a BEcon in Business/Commerce from the same institution. Additionally, Fourie has expertise in international trade and holds a Prince 2 Project Management certification.
