Derek Hurt

Derek Hurt has over a decade of experience in sales and account management within the beverage industry. Currently serving as an Account Manager at Doll Distributing since January 2023, Derek previously worked as a Craft Beer Sales Consultant at Johnson Brothers from March 2013 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing market presence, negotiating shelf placement, increasing retail sales, and conducting beer tastings. Earlier roles include Sales and Delivery at Evans Distributing from March 2010 to March 2013, and a Service Technician at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company from August 2009 to March 2010. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Northern Iowa and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Kirkwood Community College.
