Dollar Energy Fund
Ashley Neapolitan is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in event planning, graphic design, and multimedia production. Currently serving as Communications Manager and formerly as Communications and Content Specialist at Dollar Energy Fund since June 2016, Ashley is responsible for photography and video production for promotional campaigns and supports fundraising event planning. Previous roles include Cruise Director at Gateway Clipper Fleet, where Ashley directed cruise activities and managed reservations, and Graphic Designer at Wood Street Communications during a practicum at Point Park University. Additionally, Ashley has interned as a Seasonal Development Intern at the Aspen Music Festival and School, planning numerous events, and served as a Special Events Assistant at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, contributing to fundraising and donor events. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Point Park University.

Founded in 1983 in Western Pennsylvania by a coalition of concerned community and business leaders, Dollar Energy Fund, Inc. has grown to become the largest hardship fund in Pennsylvania and one of the largest in the country. Our organization has been there for those who need help with their utility bills and the need is growing due to increased costs of everyday living expenses and severe winters. These circumstances have caused our average utility assistance grant to increase, which means we are able to help fewer families with the same amount of money.
