Jean-Claude Collard has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jean-Claude started their career in 1997 at the Department of National Defence, where they held positions such as Deputy Director, Director Household Good Removal Services, and Director. In these roles, they were responsible for managing relocation services for CF members, overseeing contracts worth over 100 million dollars annually, and leading a team of 35 people across Canada.

In 2010, Jean-Claude became the General Manager at 25 Canadian Forces Supply Depot, the largest military logistics center in the country. During their time there, they managed a vast inventory of 275,000 line items worth 3.6 billion dollars and supervised 300 military and civilian employees.

Moving on to the private sector, Jean-Claude joined Dollarama in 2013 as the Director of Warehouses Operations. Over the years, they took on progressively more senior roles, including Senior Director Warehousing Operations and Vice President Warehousing and Distribution. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing warehousing and distribution operations.

In 1992, they began their studies at the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration des Affaires. Jean-Claude successfully completed this program in 1997.

After gaining practical experience in the field, Collard decided to further enhance their skills by pursuing a Master's in Business Administration (MBA). From 2002 to 2005, they attended the University of Quebec, where they dedicated himself to achieving their academic goals and completing their Maîtrise degree.

In 2009, Collard enrolled in the Canadian Forces College, where they embark on the Joint Command and Staff Programme.
