Ian King

Ian King has worked in a variety of engineering roles since 1995. Ian started at Transmitton LTD as an R&D Engineer, then moved to ST Microelectronics as a Design Engineer in 1997. In 2001, they joined National Semiconductor as a Senior Systems Engineer. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Meridian Audio Ltd as a Senior Design Engineer. Ian then moved to Icera Semiconductor Inc as a Baseband Hardware Engineer in 2009. In 2011, they joined NVIDIA as a Baseband Hardware Team Leader and Baseband Hardware Engineer. In 2015, they began working at Dyson as an Associate Principal Engineer and Senior Electronic Engineer. Finally, in 2017, they joined Graphcore as a Hardware Development Engineer, a role they held twice. As of 2023, they are a Senior Hardware Engineer at Dolphin Interconnect Solutions.

Ian King attended Nottingham Trent University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
