Sean McNee

Sean McNee possesses extensive experience in the field of technology and data science, currently serving as the Vice President of Research and Data at DomainTools since January 2017. In this role, Sean leads efforts in Internet intelligence, supporting security teams in identifying risks and investigating threats. Previously, Sean held the position of Interim CTO at DomainTools, overseeing strategic initiatives during a key acquisition. Other notable roles include Director of Research and Manager of Data Science at Intended Motion, and Co-founder and CTO of Percognate, Inc., which focused on enhancing legal document processing. Sean's early career includes significant research at FTI Consulting and internships at renowned organizations such as Xerox PARC and Microsoft. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Computer Science from Carleton College.
