Tapan Chakraborty

Dr. Chakraborty has over 30 years of experience in the area of semiconductor, telecommunication & IT industry in R&D lead and management roles. He worked at Qualcomm Inc for over eight years leading the development of 4G/5G semiconductor products which are deployed in handset devices in more than 80% of the worldwide smartphone markets. Prior to that, he worked 25 years at Bell Laboratories of AT&T & Lucent technologies leading various R&D projects in the area of semiconductor & telecommunication technology.

Dr. Chakraborty holds 22 patents in the US & has published more than 45 technical papers at various international conferences & IEEE journals. He is a well-recognized person in his field & has a deep-rooted relationship in the electronics & IT industry in the world.

Dr. Chakraborty has a Ph.D. degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey & MS degree from Columbia University, NY in Electrical Engineering.
