Uwe Schumacher is the CEO and responsible for central areas such as human resources and IT.

The graduate computer scientist has been working in the industry for over 20 years. Before he came to the company, he was on the board of Direct Line Versicherung AG for 13 years, the last four of them as CEO. Before that, he worked for many years in the insurance department of Mummert + Partner management consultancy.
