Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Ann Rodwell-Lawton is an experienced professional in the field of social work and education, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center since November 2019. In this role, Ann supervises program directors, manages program budgets, and represents the organization at community events to advocate for its mission. Previously, Ann held the positions of Director of Program Development and Quality Assurance at DVCC, and Director of Education, Training, & Outreach at the Women's Center of Greater Danbury, where Ann was involved in developing educational programs and training on domestic violence and sexual assault. Ann's extensive background includes roles focused on community organizing, public policy, and advocacy, supported by a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts from Hope College.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Since 1980, Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) has provided counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and their children. DVCC is the only state-certified agency recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) serving the communities of Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Weston and Wilton. DVCC’s role is to help those experiencing any level of domestic violence and assist them in building a safer environment for the well-being of themselves and their families. Our services include housing and financial advocacy; legal advocacy; trauma-informed individual and group counseling; and emergency safe housing. All victim services are free and confidential, and all services offered are multicultural/multilingual.
