Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Priscilla Rodriguez currently serves as a Housing and Financial Sustainability Advocate at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) since September 2023. Previously, Priscilla worked as a Research Intern for the Alicia Hernandez Strong Campaign from July 2021 to September 2021, where responsibilities included conducting outreach to potential voters and promoting the candidacy. In 2018, Priscilla gained experience as a Student Intern in a 3rd-grade classroom at Parkway Elementary School and also worked as a Poll Worker with the Registrars of Voters Association of Connecticut Inc. during November 2016. Priscilla holds an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Hartford, completed in May 2022, following prior studies at the same institution from September 2018 to May 2020.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Since 1980, Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) has provided counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and their children. DVCC is the only state-certified agency recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) serving the communities of Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Weston and Wilton. DVCC’s role is to help those experiencing any level of domestic violence and assist them in building a safer environment for the well-being of themselves and their families. Our services include housing and financial advocacy; legal advocacy; trauma-informed individual and group counseling; and emergency safe housing. All victim services are free and confidential, and all services offered are multicultural/multilingual.
